Over the past 20 years the Rolduc Polymer Meetings have been a discussion forum for researchers from academia and industry, focusing on the Integration of Polymer Science and Technology. It has become well-known for its top-level and upfront discussions and a relaxed atmosphere.

Several years ago we successfully revived the Rolduc Polymers Meeting to become an optimum interface for a continuous dialogue between researchers from academia and industry.

Since then we endeavor to organize a chain of annual meetings in the Rolduc Abbey, characterized by:

   l Presentations given by top experts in the field on selected up-to-date topics; 
   l Interfacing between academia and industry; 
   l A proper balance between presentations and discussions / workshops; 
   l Networking on joint proposals for co-operation, also within the framework of EU; 
  

Through our previous successes , we can conclude that we are on the right track. Therefore we shall keep our general theme and selection of topics, opening up novel opportunities for industry and academia.
